The homeowners wanted to turn a fairly plain upstairs game room into a high tech, high style, place to watch movies. A double closet at the end of the room seemed like the perfect place to house the electronics, so that's where we started. The homeowners really wanted someone to pull the whole project together — not just the electronics. Their needs were a perfect fit for Home Media's turnkey, 'complete solution' approach to business.

Working with the client's interior designer allowed us to maintain the project's integrity while allowing her the flexibility to be creative with the colors and finishes.

We created a 3-D model so the client could visualize the finished space. Over several days we played with different configurations and treatments. In the end, the client liked the strong symmetry of this arrangement.

From this design concept we created working drawings for the framers and finish carpenters. And from this model, the client's interior designer was able to develop alternative combinations of colors, fabrics, and finishes for the client to consider.
