Whether you want your room to be beautiful when you're entertaining friends, or you want a giant screen to drop from the ceiling for movie night with your family, or maybe you just want to catch your favorite TV show — a well-designed media room can do it all.
The cabinetry in this room provides space for all the electronics but hides everything behind wood doors. Even the front three speakers are hidden behind cloth panels.
When it's time to watch TV, pocket doors slide back into the cabinet to provide everyone with an unobstructed view. The bright picture from a rear projection TV means you can have the room lighting fairly high—bright enough for lots of family room activities.
The entire system, including lighting control and whole-house music, is controlled from a custom programmed touch screen remote.
When it's time for a movie, the lights dim and a motorized screen glides quietly down from the soffitt above the cabinets. The projector is also concealed within a soffit on the opposite side of the room. The projection screen doesn't block the sound from the speakers; it's perforated so the sound comes right through, just like at the cinema.
If you're like many of our clients, you want to enjoy your family room entertainment without having electronics dominate your room. Hiding the equipment and preserving the look of your room is something we're really good at.
