Licenses

There's a good reason building industry contractors are regulated by the state — consumer protection. Today, companies and individuals installing low voltage systems (other than security) are not required to have contractor's licenses. We think consumers deserve to know that they're dealing with professionals who meet the financial and legal requirements of contractors. Home Media holds a Virginia Class A Contractors License with BLD (Home Building) and ESC (Electronic/communication Service Contracting) classifications.

The Department of Criminal Justice Services, Private Security Services Section, regulates companies and individuals that install or maintain electronic security systems in Virginia. It's a good thing because consumers invest in these systems for protection. Home Media and all our employees are registered with DCJS.
